Problem statement: Have a rectangular cake. some one cut a rectangular piece out of it. how can we get the remainder of the cake into two equal halves in one cut of knife?

This is a silly trick of passing the knife along the centers of the rectangles (ceanter of broken piece and center of cake) in a staright line.
